ABOUT THE HUNT
Come experience the thrill of a spot and stalk black bear hunt on various private Northern California ranches in Mendocino County. Mendocino County, CA has some of the highest black bear populations in the country with the majority of these bears being color phased. Our diverse terrain of rolling hills, forests, canyons, and brush with an abundance of natural springs provides an ideal environment for an authentic spot and stalk hunt.
With the low hunting pressure, high density of black bear on our ranches and one on one guiding this is a high success hunt.
The black bear season will open the second Saturday in August and continue to the last Sunday in December. The license and tag are sold over the counter.
Book your black bear hunting adventure today and experience the excitement of pursuing large and color phased black bears in the scenic Northern California mountains.
