Our elk hunts take place in units 66A and 78 in Idaho and units 89, 90 and 91 in Wyoming.
Elk tags are on a lottery basis and the deadline is January 31st for the draw.
We usually have leftover tags every year for unit 91 in Wyoming.
Opportunity has been 90-100% at a five by five bull scoring 280-300.
We have taken larger bulls in the 360-370 class before.
These hunts are all on horseback with Archery taking place September 1-15 during the rut and
rifle hunts taking place the entire month of October. All elk hunts are 2 hunter per guide except
late cow elk hunts being 3 hunters per guide. The cow elk hunt takes place late December through early January.
This is a great relaxed hunt. Transportation during the cow elk hunt is on snow machines.
Success rates on this hunt have been 100%. This hunt can be combined with a Mountain Lion hunt for a discount.
